In order to help support and assist those who are on a Journey of Grief, Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel will be offering a drop-in Grief Share Group, starting November 16th from 10:30 – 12 noon at the Saamis Creekside Center.
Choosing the final resting place for a loved one is an important decision. Our cemetery displays an idyllic park-like setting to travelers entering and leaving Medicine Hat from the West. Over 1,100 burials have taken place and over 10,000 plots remain available for burial. We offer single plots, companion plots, and family plots. We also have special veteran and roman catholic sections available as well.
Families who choose to have a loved one cremated are also offered special areas in our cemetery. Our Columbaria and scattering gardens are beautiful areas to spread the remains of your loved one.
