The Medicine Hat & District Health Foundation is a 100% local, registered, non-profit charitable organization that is 100% dedicated to enhancing healthcare in Medicine Hat. 100% of each dollar donated goes to local healthcare.
The Health Foundation raises funds to purchase healthcare equipment, support programs and undertake renovations that enhance the quality of healthcare at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. Enhancements serve to increase patient comfort and facilitate patient care. The Health Foundation does not use any donated funds for administration or operational expenses.
The Provincial Government through Alberta Health Services is responsible for providing basic healthcare. The Health Foundation provides residents, businesses and organizations within Medicine Hat and the surrounding area with an opportunity to enhance the quality of locally available healthcare. We can have an impact on the healthcare we receive!
