Ralph Stuart Richardson, beloved husband of Eileene Richardson, passed away on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Ralph also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Connie (Jason) Tangen, Bobi Jo Cloutier, Kim McClain (Jeff), Mark (Karla) McClain, Chris (Amy) Richardson, Stacey (Gord) Sleeking, and Jim Boudreau; his grandchildren, Amanda, Jamie, Cameron, Colton, Payton, Christian, Brady, Charlie, Gabby, Brennen, Ethan, Jace, Kohen, Jaidyn, McClain, and Kadynce; his great-grandchildren, Keyana, Charolette, and Teddy; and his sister, Carol Black. Ralph was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Doris Richardson; and his sister, Gloria Castillo. Ralph was born and raised in Medicine Hat. He was a founding member of The Saamis Rotary Club and was involved with Rotary for 40 years, and a 4th generation owner of Richardson’s Bakery where he worked for 25 years. Ralph was employed with Bill Thompson Chev Olds and then began working for Paul Murray and the Murray Group for 24 years until retiring. He had a passion for horses and also loved playing piano, singing, dancing, and golfing with friends. Ralph enjoyed going on holidays, especially cruises, and attending his grandchildren’s events. He loved Sunday Service with the boys, and the fellowship he shared with the Rotary. Ralph was an easy-going, kind, generous, dedicated, honest, grateful and charismatic person who had a great love of life. His family always came first and he will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all. A Celebration of Ralph’s Life will be held at the SOUTHSIDE EVENTS CENTRE, 4 Strachan Court SE, on Saturday, April 1st, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with blessings from Dr. David J. Carter. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Ralph’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Home, Carmel Hospice, 156 – 3rd Street NE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5M1.
