Noel Jerome Assailly
Noel was born December 25, 1946 in Ste Rose du Lac, Manitoba and passed away on November 12, 2017 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Noel was predeceased by his parents, Octave and Jeanne (nee Gadal); his infant sister, Elaine; brother and sister, Ronald and Olive; his life partner, Betty Chambers; and soul mate, Brenda Davison. He is survived by his siblings, Germaine Beals (Keith), Virginia Novak (Ernest), Lucien (Christine), Madeleine Corbel (Fernand), Rita Edler (Randy Katelnikoff), Jo-Anne VanHumbeck (Kirk Gilmore) and Robert (Orise); his chosen families, Ann Opp and boys; and Brenda’s children and grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, too many to name. Our family has lost a great brother, uncle, best friend and an all-round fabulous guy. Noel had the biggest most generous heart you could ever imagine. He always enjoyed family gatherings. Noel was always smiling and made everyone feel special. We love you so much. You are in our hearts forever. His final resting place will be in Laurier, Manitoba. A Private Family Time of Remembrance will take place.
